In recent weeks, rumors have been rife in Catalonia about Ousmane Dembélé leaving at the end of the season. No doubt anxious to anticipate a possible departure of the French winger, Barça would have made great progress in the Raphinha file (25 years old).
The Spanish media Sport even explains today that the Blaugranas would have come to an agreement with the Leeds player, author of 9 goals and 3 assists in 27 games of Premier League this season. The former Stade Rennais player (2019-2021) could sign up for five seasons with Barça this summer.
Still according to Sport, the Brazilian international (7 caps, 3 goals), would have accepted a salary effort to join the Catalan club which is going through economic difficulties. The Catalan club must now conclude the transaction with Leeds, who have already refused a first offer.
Raphinha's contract includes two release clauses:
💰 75 M€ in case of maintenance for Leeds in PL
💰 €25m in the event of a descent for Leeds
Barca have been in advanced talks with Deco, his agent, since February.
